Newest updates always listed on top.
Unfortunately, this past year hasn't gone exactly as planned and much of the free time spent on the website has evaporated. Since there were so few new files this year, we decided to cancel our annual End of Year Awards for 2003. Hopefully there will be enough new material to bring them back next year to cover this two year period.
Just a small update this time around. Over in the Forum in the Sneak Peak folder you'll find several snippets of files not yet completed. I added the prologue to Young Champions #27 a few weeks back. Now you'll find the opening scene to Lost Heroes #8 which explains just how Jamie survived all these years and the prologue to Muskateer #27.
Also, for those following the Young Champions, check out the latest posts of Crucible in the Forum starting with Post #24 as the YC team is appearing!
Over in the Q Files section we have the final installments of the original Lost Heroes game with Lost Heroes #57-60.
Enjoy the small update and sneak peaks. Happy Holidays and let's hope that 2004 turns out to be a more productive year for the site!

Over in the Frontier lands, the Seekers battle a demon in Frontier #86-87 and then discover an Elder artifact in Frontier #88. And, once again, special thanks to Muskateer for doing the basic conversions for these files!
The Company wraps up their battle against the trolls in Sword of Doom # 45-47.

Secondly, we've started a Sneak Peak thread over in the Forum unveiling parts of uncompleted files. First up we have most of the first issue of Tigress mini-series that Muskateer started a few years back!

Daigon's BIO has been updated due to the changes she's gone through in the Crucible game. Check it out in the Most Wanted Handbook.
I've gone through and broke up the Gallery page into more managable chunks and added several new pics. In Rogue's Gallery A-L you can find new picks for Affrighter, Dark Seraph, Hellfire, and Leech. In Rogue's Gallery M-Z there is the Monster.
Also new is the Crucible Gallery with three pics. Gargoyle by his player, Goldstar, and Serena.
Enjoy!

A new Champs game premieres this week-- Troubleshooters! Troubleshooters was a game set in its own reality and separate from the Crusaders Universe. The game world was very much like our own, but things like ESP, aliens, and Magic were real. Think of the X-Files before there actually was the X-Files! Check out Troubleshooters #1-2 for this short-lived, but very unusual game.
The battle at the ruined city continues in Frontier #44-45 and Frontier #46-47. The Company returns to the graveyard of the Zombie Master in Sword of Doom #17-19. Will they meet with better success this time out? Enjoy the new/old stuff!

If you've been following along in the Forum, then you've heard that we've decided to remove our last comic book based character, namely the Thing. He's now going to be called Dreadnought and that change starts in this file. More details about this on the forum. Enjoy!
No Crusaders files this time around. I need to move the Cplus gang a bit further along as the two titles are going to permanently merge shortly. In the meantime, I've added a Miscellaneous section to the Champions Page. Opening up this new section is the short lived Crusaders West game that Muskateer ran. All six posts of this title are included.
On the D&D side of things, the battle with the giants concludes in Frontier #38-39. Then the Seekers come across a ruined city in Frontier #40. Else where, the Company of the Sword makes their plans to take on the Zombie Master in Sword of Doom #12-13.
The new file is Muskateer #26 which continues Muskateer's quest to find the Enchantress on Terra Nova.
For the Q Files, there is the usual triple treat of Champions posts. Things continue to get stranger in Crusaders and the heroes start to get some idea that something is not right. That and more in Crusaders #19-21! Meanwhile, the Equinox team runs into members of the Seven Horsemen in Crusaders Plus #18-20. Lastly, the battle with the Lizard from Beyond the Stars wraps up in Lost Heroes #8-9.

Look for another Q Files update in just a few days!
The Company of the Sword finally sees battle in Sword of Doom #5-7 and the Seekers come face to face with the Mountain Monster in Frontier #25-27 and Frontier #28-30!
Rounding out the Champs portion of the Q files is Lost Heroes #2-3 wherein our temporarily displaced heroes try to learn more information about their situation while getting ready for new arrivals on two fronts!
On the D&D front, we have another double dip of the Frontier. Frontier #20-22 features the Seeker taking on the Hextor Temple in Whispering Hollow, while Frontier #23-24 deals with the aftermath of that clash.
Lastly, the Company of the Sword gets themselves organized in Sword of Doom #3-4! Enjoy!
We are also introducing a new series with this update: Lost Heroes! Other than the name, this Lost Heroes has nothing in common with the series on the main portion of the site. This is the story of seven individuals with super powers in a bleak future. Hmmm-- maybe they have more in common than I first thought! Check out Lost Heroes #1.
On the D&D side of things we've got another double dip of the Frontier covering six posts! (With no arguments or on going discussions, the posts got much smaller!) In Frontier #14-16 the Seekers begin to explore Whispering Hollow, while in Frontier #17-18 the group prepares to raid the Hextor temple.
Plus we have a new D&D title: Sword of Doom. This was a companion game to the Frontier. The two games merged, but with Frontier running at double updates, I'm starting it now so that when the two do merge they'll both be close to each other. So, meet the Company of the Sword in Sword of Doom #1-2!
The Equinox team takes a turn for the strange in Crusaders Plus #6-7. The secret of the rings are revealed along with the true identity of Alyssa! Plus, look for an appearance by a certain flying goblin!
There's another double dip of the Frontier. Frontier #10-11 features the conclusion of the combat with the ankhegs and the start of the newest debate, while in Frontier #12-13 the Seekers arrive at Whispering Hollow.
As a special favor to Muskateer, we have a double update for the Frontier! In Frontier #5-6 the Seekers arrive in Gateway. Then they begin their first adventure in the Frontier #7-9.
In the Champions section, there is a trio of updates. Separate trails had lead a group of heroes to the airport. See what they find in Crusaders #3-4. Look for the debut of Imperial!
Crusaders Plus is a new section for Champions. Cplus was a companion title to Crusaders in the early days that I ran. We have two files in this area. The first is Nazgul #1 which continues his solo adventures. This all leads into Crusaders Plus #1-2 where more new characters are introduced. Enjoy!
We're adding a new feature to the site. I've been transfering my old Q-Link files to my PC as of late. Now we're going to be re-posting our old Q-link games here on the site! These were Message Based games that we ran featuring a whole host of PC's. Much of this is going to be new to you guys, some of it will seem familiar, and a few familiar faces in different places will pop up as well. This can all be accessed from the Q Files page!
We've collected these old posts into batch files featuring multiple posts. They have been edited for spelling and grammar, but otherwise are what was originally written all those years ago. Each section also features new commentary by me to help explain who people are and what is going on.
To kick off the Q Files, I have 3 reprints to share with you. The first is New Cruaders #1-4. This was the sample post I linked from the Forum, but it now includes my commentary. Next there is Crusaders #1-2, which was where everything on Q-Link began.
The last reprint is from my D&D game, The Frontier. Its important as much of Spectrums writing endeavors are based on this world, as the alternate Earth of Terra Nova. We open the this section with Frontier #1-2.
There you go! Something old, but something new to get you throught those long, cold winter nights.
