Crusaders # 51 - 54

"The Heroes Strike Back"

Spectrum's Comments: The Crusaders have located the true place where the Sorceress is being held. Can they save her in time or will DEMON succeed in summoning a Nether Lord to Earth?

Crusaders - #51 - "The Heroes Strike Back: Part Two"

The invasion of the island begins!

T-Storm concentrates, and after several minutes, fog slowly begins to cover the island. In moments it is quite thick.

Tigress, Ranger and Strongbow take off, each targeting a hidden guard. Each uses stealth to reach the enemy undetected. The guards are out before they know what hit them.

Nightstalker and Dragonman take to the air, flying out of the fog to circle in from behind.

Led by Lord Liberty's sensors, Firestar and Nightengale make their way to the DEMON transport. Nightengale's psi-blasts the remaining guard near the transport.

The trio of hunters strike again, taking out the guards surrounding the Illusion projector.

Nightstalker lands of the roof of the middle building. He concentrates, altering a portion of the roof, changing it to plastic.

Firestar enters the Transport. She works quickly and disables the ship. Moments after that, the last three guards go down.

Dragonman flies in and breathes acid on the illusion projector. It withers under the assault.

Nightstalkers shifts his cosmic powers to increased strength and flies through the plastic. The DEMON agents below are surprised by this sudden attack. One punch ko's the first agent. The other goes down with relative ease.

The Crusaders capture the island in about 10 seconds.

With Strongbow and Tigress in the lead, the team enters the small hut. Just inside the door, a staircase of metal leads down into the earth. You cautiously go down.

No traps or guards are encountered on the way down.

After almost ten minutes of this, the stairs end. A short passage leads to a pair of large iron doors, bearing the insignia of DEMON. Ranger shoves the great doors open.

A gust of thick heat sweeps over the heroes, as the doors swing open. Beyond is an immense chamber with a high domed ceiling. Thick pillars of stone support the room and a pit of fire in the center illuminates the room with a flickering light.

Two corridors lead away from this chamber. One on the left hand wall, one on the right side.

GM Notes:

The attack went smoothly. No one took any damage and everyone is at full end.

Which way will you go?

Spectrum's Comments: Finally things are starting to go the heroes way. That initial battle was easy enough. Of course the main event lies ahead!

SUBJ: STRONGBOW FROM: AREION 02/26/90 S#: 58524

Still blushing slightly, the warrior brave turns to TIGRESS. He's obviously greatly embarrassed by the fact that he doesn't know what to make of the felinoid's affections. Of his warrior's abilities, he has no doubt, but his prows of a romantic nature are another matter. The Navaho youth would not be considered an adult in a number of states. Not wanting to appear foolish, STRONGBOW tries to seem as though he didn't read anything into her kiss, but he's not very experienced at this sort of thing.

"Ehhh...Tigress, can you detect the Sorceress's scent?"

If she indicates that she can, I'll ask her to point it out to me so I can lock onto it too (Didn't think you were the only one who could do that, did you?!? ;> )

STRONGBOW will relay any findings to FIRESTAR. Once the team resumes the hunt he will volunteer to lead the way, along with TIGRESS and RANGER, if they agree. With FIRESTAR's approval, STRONGBOW will stealthfully skulk down the appropriate corridor along the outer ridges of the firelight, coup stick in hand.

SUBJ: Ranger (R) FROM: Deslock 02/27/90 S#: 803687

"Looks like I'm turning into a worry-wart, those guys went down rather easily."

While Tigress and Strongbow use their various exotic skills to attempt to determine which corridor we should go down to find Sorceress, I'll use my more mundane abilities to try and find out the same thing. Are there any sounds, signs, footprints, etc..., which might indicate where the ceremony is occurring? Any drafts? Is either corridor warmer than the other?

"I'm certainly willing to come along in the lead with you, Strongbow, but if we can reliably determine which way to go, is there any reason we should not all proceed? In the coming battle, we shall surely all be needed."

SUBJ: STRONGBOW II FROM: AREION 02/27/90 S#: 441369

STRONGBOW ponders for a moment then turns towards RANGER to reply:

"True...there is strength in numbers and should we storm together, we stand a greater chance of FORCING our entry, but should those of us adept at such things lurk in the shadows at the forefront, perhaps we my circle behind the enemy before we're detected...We should try to maintain the advantage for as long as we can! It is bad enough we must face them on their own soil...at least let it be on OUR terms!"

SUBJ: Firestar

'Well done, all! Let see if we can finish the rest of the job as easily!'

[Hey, I can dream can't I? ;)]

'Before deciding in what order we should go in, let's figure out which way we can go. Can you sense the Sorceress, Tigress? What about you, Lord Liberty, do you sense anything out of the ordinary? Or are your sensors still blocked? Can you detect any minds down here, Nightengale?'

GM Notes:

Sniffing the air, the Tigress quickly picks up the Sorceress trail. It doesn't appear to go down either corridor.

Ranger, with his detective skills, and Lord Liberty, with his sensors, both locate something at almost the same time. An illusion is covering a passageway.

By now, Strongbow has picked up the trail. The scent leads into the new passage.

Nightengale - "I can sense two minds down that passage. One of them is our Sorceress..."

With a grim look, 'Gale looks at Ranger.

Nightengale - "...The other is Hieronomous...."

Spectrum's Comments: 'Gale and Ranger had trouble with Hieronomous way back in the beginning of the Crusaders Plus game.

SUBJ: Firestar

'I should have suspected that they would try to trick us again. Let's proceed down this secret passage carefully. Everyone be prepared for the unexpected.'

SUBJ: dragon FROM: Wild dan 03/01/90 S#: 422690

how wide is the corridor? if wide enought and with fires perrmission i will hange into a black and att with acid

SUBJ: Lord Liberty FROM: REM9 03/02/90 S#: 840550

"It would appear that both these corridors are not our destination. This Hieronomous is quite ingenious for disguising the true corridor with an illusion. Firestar might I suggest that now that we know where Sorceress is, and that she is with our foe, we proceed there as a group. Perhaps it would be of best interest to be a little cautious as well however. This Hieronomous seems to rely on illusion to deceive his enemies, and he appears to be quite clever at it. I will keep my sensors ahead of the group tuned into the floor, walls and ceiling to detect for any other tricks our host may have for us."

Crusaders - #52 - "That Ole' Black Magic"

Having discovered the true path to follow, the Crusaders head towards Hieronomous and the kidnapped Sorceress.

A short corridor leads into a room much larger than the one with the firepit. It is the shape of a circle, its domed ceiling reaching 40' overhead. The floor is painted in bizarre, assumingly, magical runes. A low circle of fire surrounds each group of runes. Five such painted, fire surrounded circles, cover the floor of the room at intervals around the room. They surround an even larger painted DEMON insignia.

On the opposite side of the room is a strange metal device, also circular, but bearing a large metal 'X' amid a mass of odd machinery. The Sorceress is bound to this 'X'.

Just to her left is a a raised platform about ten feet off the ground that seems oddly out of place. Hieronomous is standing on this platform. He raises his staff above his head and it crackles to life. His booming voice fills the room.

Hieronomous - "Enter ye followers of light! Enter the Demon's nest so that he may feed thee and devour thee! Enter ye heroes of hope! Enter and despair! Behold as I bring forth the messengers of the Nether Lord!"

Suddenly, Hieronomous throws a switch and the enter room is bathed in a hellish red light. A fiery shaft shoots down from the domed ceiling, passing through the 'X' and the Sorceress, who arches her back in agony. The painted runes glow brighter and brighter until a bolt of energy strikes out from the Sorceress and explodes against the floor in front of the device.

When the smoke clears, several demons are now standing there. These hideous creatures quickly begin to change. The horrible metamorphosis is accompanied by a variety of squishing and oozing sounds. Before the team can react, they are confronted by themselves!

As if that wasn't bad enough, Hieronomous speaks again!

Hieronomous - "With thy comrade's mystical energies I now have the power to bring forth not only the children of the abyss, but one of the great Nether Lords itself. Then will DEMON rule supreme, and shall the minions of light flee before us in terror!"

With a cackling laugh, the Morbane throws another switch and an even larger shaft of fiery energy shoots in the machine, causing the Sorceress to twist and writhe in pain as her very essence is used to summon forth the Nether Lord.

The Doppelganger Crusaders spring to attack, and Hieronomous laughs on...

GM Notes:

The Crusaders have beaten many foes, but can they defeat themselves? Your doubles are currently 20 hexes from you. The Sorceress is 25 hexes away and Hieronomous is 28.

As of this post, T-Storm and the Tigress are NPC's.

Spectrum's Comments: Admittedly, a great deal of the above text was lifted from the actual module. It sounded good, so I went with it!

SUBJ: Firestar

'You grinning devil! We shall stop this madness!'

As I see it, our main objective is to put this x-machine out of commission. Without it, the demon won't be able to summon a Nether Lord. Of course our own doubles will try to stop us. However, we might have an advantage. If anyone has a weakness that we can exploit, just shout it out!

Once the battle begins, I'll take to the air. If I can catch 3 or more of the false Crusaders in a Nova Blast, I'll do so. Otherwise, I'll help the Sorceress get free of that fiendish machine.

SUBJ: STRONGBOW FROM: AREION 03/06/90 S#: 838270

Glaring at his unholy image in insult, STRONGBOW begins to rant and rave (As usual! ;> ).

"By the spirits...a poor imitation, demon! No one who posses the TRUE soul gem may use its power for evil! If you were more than a makeshift image, you would be painfully aware of this by now. Come...Test your ill-forged toy against the real thing!!"

Furious, STRONGBOW draws his Tomahawk (MP-s3,1L OCV/1L DCV)and charges with a fierce war cry on his lips.(He feels no obligation to refrain from using killing force on an evil creature and should run into no problems with his Susceptibility... after all isn't the destruction of primal evil beings beneficial to the world... ie: good rather than evil?!? ;> )

If (as is more than probable) STRONGBOW is stunned, takes body or is just struck repeatedly, he becomes even angrier in his frustration. At which point he will change tactics. Seeing that the toe-to-toe approach doesn't seem to work, he'll try to out perform this Carbon Copy Crusader in the finesse category (So he has my powers, but is he familiar enough with them to keep up with me?!?)

"Creation...you may be my double, perhaps even my equal....but you shall NEVER be my BETTER!!!"

STRONGBOW will then break away using his Speed of the Deer (Levels to DCV), stop short, open fire with an arrow (or two if he has the time before his opponent can reach him - MP:s3, Levels to OCV).If STRONGBOW succeeds in striking his foe and can reach him while he/it is still prone, I'll try to bind him with the coup stick (MP:s5-Entangle) and finish him off quickly with my charged Tomahawk.

(MP:s2 - I know...it's an NND, but it wont free him, and I can always kill him later! ];> )

If I fail to do this, I will continue to dodge, using speed of the deer, stopping short to attack with Tomahawk (s3) dodge again until I get the chance for my 'Grand Finally'.

Really, FIRESTAR...did you expect me to yell out 'Bust'im in the chops!' ?!?

SUBJ: dragon FROM: Wild dan 03/07/90 S#: 400527

i turn into a black dragon and hit hir with acid

fire use cold on all form expt white and silver

SUBJ: Ranger FROM: Deslock 03/07/90 S#: 400847

"This isn't the first time I've met a host of doubles. They lost last time, and they shall lose again!"

I'll use a series of half move/acrobatics and attacks/dodges to move across the intervening area. My final objective is the table upon which Sorceress is held, although along the way I'll engage the T-Storm double, if he is still up. He could be the most dangerous of the doubles.

"Go get 'em Star."

SUBJ: NIGHTSTALKER - Malik FROM: NightStlkr 03/07/90 S#: 9202

"Don't bother using energy against the other me, Firestar; he has my Energy Immunity too...but then again, there is ONE form of primal energy that we're vulnerable to...and I possess IT as well..."

Malik's phlegmatic grin turns serious. He stands firm as he realizes the irony in what he must do. He raises his hands as they again begin to glow a brilliant blue; but it seems to be different, somehow. The strain becomes visible on his face as he generates the very band of radiation that SPAWNED his existence...and the only substance that could prove FATAL to him: Melantium!!

He feels his OWN powers dwindling as he fires off a Power Burst of pure Melantium at the phony Phantorian; knowing all too well that he may be sacrificing HIMSELF...

What do you say, Mad.. give him a DEX Roll to get a full strength Power Burst off before the Melantium cuts his power levels???

Either way, Malik will be pushing his EB for an extra 10pts.

SUBJ: Lord Liberty FROM: REM9 03/08/90 S#: 30809

"Everyone remember Firestar's words. Our doubles are not the real foes. That machine must be turned off before our opponent's strength becomes even greater and the Sorceress looses what little energy she has left. Double-team your duplicates if necessary to allow a speedier conclusion to the battle. Strongbow let me assist you with your foe. Entering Full Battle mode."

Lord Liberty will attempt to dodge his way up to help Strongbow with his duplicate, all the while scanning his opponent for any weakness in his tactics. If Strongbow's replicate shares his tendency to fight first and think latter (sorry) then perhaps Lord Liberty may be able to outmaneuver him. As soon as he is given the opportunity, Lord Liberty will deliver as heavy a martial punch as he can render (straight for the mirror-Strongbow's weakness spot hopefully)

Crusaders - #53 - "Our Enemies, Ourselves"

Beneath the Demon Island, the final conflict as begun! Hieronomous prepares to summon the Nether Lord as the Crusaders encounter... the Crusaders?

After the exchange of a few words, the action begins. The Tigress's and Rangers closes on each other. The real Ranger goes after the false T-Storm, but the false Ranger moving to intercept.

T-Storm - "Since you're made of metal, Lord Liberty, then you should be vulnerable to my lightning bolts!"

T-Storm half t-ports across the room. He then fires a stroke of lightning at the false Lord Liberty. The lightning arcs around the phoney android. It sparks and hisses for several moments and then falls down. A moment later he puffs out of existence.

T-Storm - "Excellent strategy! I shall do the same."

The false T-Storm attempts the same maneuver, but he misses Lord Liberty.

The Strongbows charge each other, both swing their tomahawks and both miss.

Nightengale - "Not to worry, Lord Liberty, I'll protect you!"

Nightengale's power lashes out, shutting down the false T-Storms mind.

Again, the doubles see something work, so they attempt it. This time they succeed. The false Nightengale shuts down the mind of the real T-Storm.

Lord Liberty moves closer to the battle between the Strongbows. He studies the false one intently, locating a weak point.

Firestar takes the air. Seeing that five of the false Crusaders have conveniently aligned themselves within the area of a Nova Blast, she fires away.

The false Tigress, Ranger and Nightengale are all stunned from the blast. The false T-Storm vanishes from the attack. Only the False Firestar and Dragonman take minimal damage.

Firestar - "Let's see how you like that on your own people!"

The false Firestar takes to the air and pulls the same maneuver. Fire washes over the Strongbow's, Ranger, Lord Liberty and T-Storm. The Bow's are momentarily stunned.

Nightstalker flies after his own double. As he travels, he summons up an energy blast of Melantium. In spite of the pain, he manages to get it off at the false Nightstalker.

The false Nightstalker is hit and disappears. The real Nightstalker falls to his knees, nearly knocking himself out with his own attack.

The real Dragonman, in black dragon form, takes to the air, flying at Hieronomous.

The false Dragonman, in blue dragon from, flies to intercept. The two dragons collide in mid-air, the blue one trying to claw and bite. Damaged, the black dragon opens its maw, spitting acid into his foes face. The deadly attack causes the blue to scream in agony before it disappears in a puff.

Small traces of electrical energy arc about the mentally paralyzed T-Storm...

GM Notes:

That was phase 12 of the conflict. Everyone recovers and no one is stunned. The false T-Storm, Lord Liberty, Nightstalker and Dragonman have been defeated.

Team Status

Name Stun
Dragonman 44 of 62
Firestar 33 of 39

SUBJ: Firestar

'The tide of battle appears to be going in our favor, my friends. But still be on guard for the unexpected!'

After giving a hateful glare to the Demonmaster, I'll fly to rescue the Sorceress.

'These doubles are evil abominations! Do not hesitate to use lethal force in their destruction!'

Assuming I do free the Sorceress, my next action will then be to destroy the machine itself.

SUBJ: dragon FROM: Wild dan 03/10/90 S#: 13546

I will fiy to where fire is and change into a red dragon firing fire in a cone at dtigress

fire that last attack stung

SUBJ: NIGHTSTALKER - Malik FROM: NightStlkr 03/10/90 S#: 810289

Falling to his knees in pain, Malik starts gasping for air; the Melantium having taken its toll on him.

"AAArrrghhh...I don't feel so good... feel kinda' flushed...almost feel like

I'm dyin' or something...sure knocked me for a loop though, that's for sure..."

NIGHTSTALKER slowly rises to his feet. He's a little wobbly, even a bit disoriented but other than that, none the worse for wear.

"Whoa...still a little dizzy...but... I can't...let that stop me...The Sorceress...she needs me...I have to get to her..."

Still a little shaky, NIGHTSTALKER takes to the air with only one thing on his mind.

"Hold on, Sorceress...I'm coming..."

Malik with do his best to evade all obstacles in his way until he reaches the Sorceress. Once there, he'll activate his Darkness for cover while he struggles to get her free.

If Firestar gets there before he does, Malik will do his best to guard them both while she tries to free The Sorceress.

SUBJ: Lord Liberty FROM: REM9 03/11/90 S#: 417318

"Our team strategy seems to be doing quite well against our false counterparts. It appears to me that the false Firestar is our most deadly opponent still left. Nightingale, perhaps you can do something about her before she can use her flame again."

While Lord Liberty is going over battle tactics, he is heading straight for the false Strongbow. If he arrives while the real Strongbow is still conscious and he is given the opening, he will attempt to grab the counterfeit allowing the real one to get in a free shot. If he arrives after the other is down, he will deliver a mighty martial punch at the demons weak spot.

"You possess the ability to duplicate our powers, but you seem to lack our skill in battle. Your destruction is most imminent, I suggest that you withdraw from this combat situation while you are still able."

SUBJ: Ranger FROM: Deslock 03/13/90 S#: 794498

"Go get her, Firestar, we can take care of the rest of these clones."

- Lord Liberty is right, if that phony Firestar gets its act together, it could cause us problems. -

I'll move toward the false Firestar, leaping into a flying kick, followed by a martial throw into my alter ego.

SUBJ: STRONGBOW FROM: AREION 03/17/90 S#: 442258

STRONGBOW will continue to follow his previous strategy. If LORD LIBERTY does grab a hold of his demonic doppelganger, he will strike with his Tomahawk (MP s2- 5D6 NND Def: hardened or power defense)

STRONGBOW will appear sullen after this attack. To gang up on an opponent in an even fight is dishonorable, but, in the face of saving a companion's life, the price is just too high to let the opportunity pass by.

Crusaders - #54 - "Final Conflict: Part 17 of Target: Hero"

The battle against the Doppelganger Crusaders continues.

The false Tigress attacks the real one. She leaps in with a flying kick, grazing the real Ti. The real Tigress uses the attack to find the weakness in her opponent. Finding, Ti lashes out with a powerful palm thrust, knocking out her enemy.

Lightning continues arc around the mentally paralyzed T-Storm. It builds in intensity until he, literally, freaks out!

Dark clouds suddenly cover half the room. Rain begins to pour and strokes of lightning assault those in range.

The false Strongbow is hit, and disappears from a bolt of lightning. Lord Liberty too goes down from the lightning.

Both the false Firestar and Nightstalker are struck, but both remain conscious.

One final bolt of lightning hits T-Storm himself, knocking himself out. Once he hits the ground, the unnatural storm ceases.

With his opponent down, Strongbow draws his bow and fires at the false Firestar. His aim is true, but the shaft fails to damage the target. The real Firestar flies to the Sorceress's side. She attempts to burn the Sorceress's bonds away, but meets with no success.

Firestar - "It's no use! My flame isn't powerful enough... Dragonman, destroy the machine!"

The false Firestar returns the favor, but misses the nimble warrior.

Ranger comes in with a flying kick to the false Firestar, knocking her out of the air and out of the fight.

Nightstalker finally shakes of the effects of the Melantium and flies to the Sorceress's side.

Still in black dragon form, Dragonman flies towards the machine. Using his acid breath, he breathes on the machine.

The X-Machine explodes under the assault. The shaft of energy passing through the Sorceress ceases. Between Firestar and Nightstalker, they are able to carry her to safety.

The remaining doppelgangers blink out of existence.

On the platform over head, Hieronomous is enraged that his plot has been foiled!

Hieronomous - "Curse you all! Again you have ruined my plans! There shall be other plans... Other confrontations. Adieu."

With that, Hieronomous disappears.

GM Notes:

The team will encounter no other threats while on the island. Everyone can recover. Only Firestar and Tigress have taken body, and that was back at the undersea base.

Firestar 4 of 13 BODY

Tigress 6 of 11 BODY

Updated XP's will be posted next week.

SUBJ: Firestar

More then glad that this affair is over; Firestar will see how her teammates fare.

'In spite of what has occurred, we have done well this day. Let's get the hell out here and go home!'

I assume that Nightstalker will see to the Sorceress's needs.

'Nightengale, make sure that there is no one else on this island. Ranger, Lord Liberty, T-Storm and Tigress, round up the Demon agents. Load them into the C-Jet.'

'Dragonman and Strongbow, shall we remove this blemish?'

Aided by the guys, I'll begin the task of destroying this stronghold of evil. I'll Nova blast what remains of this chamber.

On the surface, we'll destroy the buildings and equipment.

'I have no desire to ever return to this place, nor have DEMON ever make use of it.'

After this has been accomplished, we'll fly home.

SUBJ: Ranger FROM: Deslock 03/18/90 S#: 496143

"You've got it, chief."

I'll head up to the surface, and start rounding up the Demon Agents.

- We have done well here today. Perhaps Firestar is right, we are learning to act as a team. Only time will tell. -

SUBJ: Lord Liberty FROM: REM9 03/18/90 S#: 111026

"Very well Firestar. I will go and help round up the agents. But why do they have to be completely circular before we put them in the C-jet?"

After this is explained to Lord Liberty, he will use his scanners to help the group find all the agents still left on the island. While he is doing this he can't help but think of the irony that has developed. A few short months ago, Firestar was considering giving up her leadership because she did not feel she was doing a good job, and yet today she has more than proved that she can lead this group of unique individuals to act as one team. It is most remarkable how the human species has a knack of always underestimating their ability to do good.

Winces at Lord Liberties terrible pun...

'My friends, I am deeply touched at your kind words. It is true; I have had my doubts at times. I think those doubts have put to rest this day. A leader is nothing without excellent followers, and all of you fit the bill.'

Somewhat confused by Dragonman's words, I'll what until everyone is safely out of range before beginning to destroy the base.

'You are a member of the Crusaders for as long as you want to be. I was not aware of any testing period. Regardless, you have repeated proved your value to the team. Of course you may stay! :)

SUBJ: NIGHTSTALKER - Malik FROM: NightStlkr 03/22/90 S#: 496188

"You can count on me! I'll take good care of her 'Hot Stu'...ahh...Boss.'

Malik lifts the beautiful Sorceress into his jet-black arms and carries her away. The phlegmatic tendencies so predominant in him since you've met him are put aside; They have no place here. Malik walks slowly, solemnly contemplating the recent turn of events.

Reaching the jet, Malik lies the Sorceress down gently and searches for a blanket to cover her with. He tucks her in and tries to make her as comfortable as he can.

"It was a long haul, but we did it, didn't we? We got you back. The story's not going to be an easy one to hear, but Shadow and Darkwave earned that much; paid for it with their blood."

Malik leans over and kisses her gently on the cheek.

"Rest now, you've been through enough"

Rising slowly and silently to his feet, NIGHTSTALKER exits the jet for a short stroll on the beach, to pay his last respects to those lost in battle. He stares off into the darkness that is his home, admiring the view of the star light sky...longing for someone to share it with, and grieving over the loss of a friend.

"Rest in peace my friends, knowing that the Sorceress is safe, and your deaths have been avenged!"

SUBJ: STRONGBOW FROM: AREION 03/22/90 S#: 464785

"It would be my pleasure, Firestar!"

With a definite sense of enthusiasm, the warrior brave sets about destroying the DEMON compound, using the full scope of his magical abilities.

When the team leaves the dank, confined subterranean base, STRONGBOW will seal the entrance, hopefully, forever with a combination of Sculpt and Breath of Life spells.

With that grim task out of the way, the navaho youth will offer a Power Heal to anyone who looks in need of it. (I think I already healed TIGRESS to the limit of my ability...sorry Ti.)

When we get back to H.Q., STRONGBOW will try to put the ordeal of the past few weeks out of his mind by patrolling the city streets, looking for VIPER activity in particular.

SUBJ: Sorceress

Shortly after being placed in the plane, the young mage awakens. Her entire body is sore. Daring a glance in a mirror, she finds that she is a mess. Cleaning up as best she can, she then slowly, carefully walks down to the beach. Finding Malik she takes his hand and joins him at looking into the night sky.

"Whatcha lookin' at?"

Spectrum's Comments: And that takes care of Target: Hero. The Crusaders grew and became a team during this battle. New adventures start next time.
