Rosters

Below are the current memberships of the various hero and villain teams featured in our universe. This list is by no means complete, but rather covers those groups that have appeared in our tales.

Hero Teams

Team:   Avengers Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   New York City, New York Headquarters:   Avengers Mansion
Current Membership:   Black Diamond (Team Leader), Muskateer (2nd in Command), Firestar, Nightingale, Supreme, Texas Ranger
Reserve Members:   Huntress

Notes:   The Avengers are fully covered in their Team Biography.

Team:   Champions Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   Chicago, Illinois Headquarters:   Homestead
Current Membership:   Defender (Team Leader), Jaguar, Obsidian, Seeker, Solitaire, Tritium
Notes:   The Champions are the sample hero team in the 4th Edition Rulebook. More powerful versions of these characters can be found in Champions Universe. Several other versions of Seeker and Solitaire exist as well. We use the Champions Universe versions for all the Champions, except for Seeker and Solitaire. We use the version of Solitaire presented in The Ultimate Supermage as it reflects the character at the start of her career. She'll eventually grow into The Ultimate Mentalist version. We use Seeker from the 4th Edition Rulebook as he is at the start of his career, and the other versions are far more powerful right now. Quantum was renamed Tritium to avoid confusion with our own Quantum.

Team:   Circle Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   New York City, New York Headquarters:   The Garden
Current Membership:   The Master (Team Leader), Aureole, Blackfire, Kor Hunter, Moonsilver, Willow Witch
Notes:   The Circle is not a superhero team, rather it is a school for magicians and those with mystical powers. Many mages on other hero teams have roots in the Circle: the Enchantress, Scarlet Sorceress, and Warlock to name a few. The current batch of full time students is listed under Membership. The Master is an immensely powerful and mysterious being who does not partake in adventuring. The Circle appears in Organization Book 1: The Circle and METE. Megan Pierce was dubbed Willow Witch in the Strikeforce Sourcebook.

Team:   Freedom League Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   New York City, New York Headquarters:   Campbell Industries International
Current Membership:   Microwave (Team Leader), Brute, FIST, Radiance, Resonator, Scarlet Sabre, Speedster
Notes:   The Freedom League is fully covered in their Team Biography.

Team:   Freedom Squad Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   Los Angeles, California Headquarters:   Freedom's Tower
Current Membership:   American Eagle (Team Leader), Black Phantom, Dimension Man, Goshawk, Hardhat, Jo-Tan, Victrix
Notes:   The Freedom Squad is oldest of the active hero teams, having been in existence for 15 years. The group is currently in decline, never having the raw power or popularity of the modern hero teams. However, the team has added some new blood as of late in the form of Goshawk, Jo-Tan, and Victrix. The Freedom's Squad headquarters was destroyed during the GSVC. The group has decided to continue on and have opened a new base in Downtown Los Angeles called the Freedom's Tower. The Freedom Squad was introduced in the Voice of Doom Champions Adventure and were upgraded to 4th Edition in Champions Universe. We use the upgraded versions.

Team:   Guardians Status:   Inactive
Base of Operations:   Los Angeles, California Headquarters:   Guardians Mansion
Current Membership:   Hornet (Team Leader), Density, Duplicator, Lazerblast, Sidewinder, Spinnerette, Warlock
Notes:   The Guardians are one of the more popular hero teams on the West Coast. At one time they were the sister team to the Avengers, but the relationship soured and they are currently an independent group. Due to circumstances not yet fully revealed, the Guardians have disbanded, much to the shock of the general public. The team members have gone their seperate ways.

Team:   Protectors Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   San Francisco, California Headquarters:   Protector's Citadel
Current Membership:   Quasar (Team Leader), Ace, Brainstorm, Doc Sonic, Dr. Wraithe, Helios, Maelstrom, Marksman, Renegade, Silverfist
Notes:   At one time Quasar was the slave/servant to Firewing. He accompanied his master to Earth and rebelled. Aided by Dr. Wraithe, Malestrom, Helios, and Silverfist, Quasar was able to defeat Firewing. The group decided to stay together and became known as the Protectors, adding other members as the years passed. The Protector's are fully described in the To Serve and Protect Champions Adventure. The Huntsman was renamed the Marksman to avoid confusion with our Hunter/Huntress characters.

Team:   Superior Six Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   Dallas, Texas Headquarters:   The Ranch
Current Membership:   Captain Lightning (Team Leader), Centurian, Earthquake, Maverick, Sorceress, Titan
Notes:   The Superior Six, formerly the Superior Seven, are one of the newer hero groups, being together a little over a year. The team is supported by both the Sorceress and Captain Lightning, who are both independently wealthy. They have a robotic major domo called 'DUKE' who is a John Wayne sound-alike. Recently, the Comet was killed in action; as shown in Young Champions #1.

Team:   Titanic Trio Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   Chicago, Illinois Headquarters:   Unknown
Current Membership:   Star Knight (Team Leader), Equinox, Nebula,

Notes:   The Young Champions is a "Heroes in Training" program run on Sanctuary. They are drilled in how to use their powers responsibly and tutored in combat. The team is loosely structured as students can leave any time they feel they have learned all that they can. Starbolt was the first graduate of the Young Champions.

Villain Groups

Team:   ATLAS Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   World Wide Headquarters:   Unknown
Current Membership:   Peacemonger (Group Leader), Dominance, Genetic Deviant X, Polarity, Recoil, Uberman, Unicorn, Virtuouso
Notes:   ATLAS is a terrorist organization that consists of normal agents and superpowered operatives. All of the supervillains of ATLAS were given powers by Peacemonger via exposure to an unknown radiation source. Peacemonger continues to tinker in making supers with Nemesis, Tempest and Terra Fire of the Young Champions being his latest experiments. Ego was renamed as Dominance. ATLAS appears in the ATLAS Unleashed Champions Adventure.

Team:   Conquerors Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   World Wide Headquarters:   Unknown
Current Membership:   Neutron (Group Leader), Arc, Big John, Nightshade
Notes:   The Conquerors are fully detailed in Classic Enemies. Recently, Ankylosaur decided that he had enough of Neutron and left the group, taking Wyvern with him. Neutron has added the mutants Big John and Nightshade as replacements. Nightshade is from Enemies - Villainy Unbound, the other Conquerors appear in Classic Enemies.

Team:   Demolition Crew Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   North America Headquarters:   None
Current Membership:   Bulldozer (Group Leader), Airhammer, Buzzsaw, Piledriver, Sledge.
Notes:   The Demolition Crew is an alliance of second string villains with a heavy construction theme. Sledge appears in the original Enemies book. Bulldozer and Piledriver are from Enemies II, with Bulldozer being updated in Classic Enemies. Buzzsaw appears from Champion's Presents #2 and Airhammer is from Trouble for Havok, a multi-system, multi-scenario book useable with Champions.

Team:   Destroyers Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   North America Headquarters:   Unknown
Current Membership:   Deathsinger (Group Leader), Arrowhead, Death Commando, Frost, Stinger
Notes:   The Destroyers have the ambitious goal of taking over the world. Unfortunately, their plans blow up in their faces more often than not, giving the team a reputation as one of the least dangerous supervillain groups. The Destroyers originally appeared in Enemies II, changed their name to Deathstroke in the Champions Adventure of the same name, and were upgraded to 4th Edition in Champions Universe. The events in Deathstroke, the modual, have yet to occur.

Team:   Iron Maiden Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   North America Headquarters:   Unknown
Current Membership:   Iron Maiden (Group Leader) Deathbolt, Domino, Impulse, Kinetron, Mentalla, Myrmidon, Solar
Notes:   The French villainess Iron Maiden is the leader of the organization that bears her name. Iron Maiden, the group, is a collection of normal operatives and superpowered agents gathered from the four corners of the Earth. The Iron Maiden is a close associate of Dr. Destroyer and widely believed to be his lover. It is known that Destroyer constructed the Iron Maiden's armor, much like he had for Professor Muerte of Terror Incorporated. The psionic Mentalla was another of his gifts. Iron Maiden keeps an eye on technological advances in North America for Destroyer, seeing if there is any interesting discovery that can be added to Destroyer's knowledge. Mentalla is presented in Classic Enemies. Domino and Solar (name changed from Helios to avoid confusion with the Protector) are from Enemies Assembled. Kinetron and Impulse are from High Tech Enemies. Myrmidon is the re-named Gladiator from European Enemies.

Team:   PLUNDER Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   World Wide Headquarters:   Unknown
Current Membership:   Sleeper (Group Leader), Deimos, Phobos, Silver Dragon, Terastar.
Notes:   Plunder is a team of super thieves.

Team:   Terror Incorporated Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   World Wide Headquarters:   Island of San Muerte
Current Membership:   Professor Meurte (Group Leader), Feur, Giganto.
Notes:   Terror Incorporated is a criminal organization fully described in Classic Enemies. Recently, Scorpia betrayed the team and struck out on her own, forming Terror Unlimited. Professor Muerte has sworn vengeance. Dragonfly joined the group for about five minutes before being killed in a battle against Terror Unlimited by Mind Slayer.

Team:   Terror Unlimited Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   World Wide Headquarters:   None
Current Membership:   Scorpia (Group Leader), Black Hole, Lightmaster, Mind Slayer, Shamrock.
Notes:   Terror Unlimited is a new group and organization created by Scorpia. Tired of being surrounded by the other hideous members of Terror Incorporated, Scorpia abandoned her teammates and struck out on her own. Shamrock was her first recruit, closely followed by the villainous Spectrum (now calling himself Lightmaster) and the psionic Mind Slayer. Turns out that Lightmaster's true superpowers is the ability to mimic the powers of other supers, but he needs regular contact to maintain his abilities. Having been out of contact for too long with the real Spectrum, Lightmaster fell back into his true form and is currently comatose. Recently the Thugmaster Elite graduate Black Hole was added to the group.

Team:   Thugmaster's Elite Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   North America Headquarters:   Unknown
Current Membership:   Dark Knight (Group Leader), Brother Basilisk, Chaos, Dash, Lightwave, Powerhouse, Rainbow.
Notes:   The Thugmaster's Elite is a team of supervillains in training, a sort of criminal version of the Young Champions team that operate in the western part of the United States. Shadow Queen is a former member of the Elite and his hunted by her former teammates. The current crop of the Elite are drawn from various Champions material, primarily the Great Supervillain Contest. Rainbow is Spectra from Enemies III renamed. Chaos and Lightwave are Wee Willie and Microwave, renamed from the GSVC. The Black Diamond from Classic Enemies was renamed Titania to avoid confusion with the heroine of the same name. Graduation ceremonies were recently held and Annhilator, Hammerhead, Dragonfly, and Black Hole all graduated. Titania was kicked off the team for incompetence.

Team:   Ultimates Status:   Active
Base of Operations:   North America Headquarters:   Unknown
Current Membership:   Binder (Group Leader), Blackstar, Charger, Plasmoid, Slick
Notes:   The Utlimates are one of the most feared villain groups in North America. They are fully covered in Classic Enemies.
