HH Logo This is a brief introductory page to this site. Or in other words, What's This All About!?

What is contained on this site is material adapted (upgraded, improved upon, and more often than not, brand-spanking new!) from our offline Champions Campaign from the 80's. The Campaign World is predominantly taken from published Champions material with original additions. The Campaign was ran before 4th Edition came out, so many of the groups and organizations may seem a bit off to newer players.

We used the published material, but do not accept it as the gospel. Existing material has been adapted to our needs and desires. Characters from the 4th Edition have been added as well, some having undergone changes. For instance, we took the character of Copperhead from Dark Champions and turned him into a man. Likewise, Inertia from Champions of the North had a gender switch. The Quantum from the 4th Edition rulebook has been renamed Tritium. Mentalla was never a member of Eurostar. The version of VIPER we use is the one before the Supreme Serpent, from the VIPER Source Book, had complete control. These are just a handful of the many, minute changes that abound.

The original Campaign had many characters adapted from the comics. This has been toned down significantly, with only a few old favorites remaining. Most characters in this class have been completely deleted or changed enough to be different from their original source material. Another source of characters in this Site was the Champions Campaigns we ran on Q-Link circa '89-'93. This site is the fusion of all of these sources and should be treated as one large Campaign.

Avengers Index The Campaign can be divided into several distinct areas. Currently, the largest area is the East Coast. The premier group in this part of the Campaign is the Avengers. Like their Marvel Comics counter-part, they are based in New York City, but have a radically different roster. The Avengers is a team-book that features a great many characters and the villains they encounter.
Huntress Index Muskateer Index

The Huntress and Muskateer are two titles that are associated with the Avengers. The Huntress begins as the daughter of the current leader of the Avengers, the Hunter. She is young and ready to begin her career as a 3rd generation hero, when Hunter is tragically killed. The Huntress sets out on her own to track down her father's killers. During her mission, she meets many other heroes and ends up becoming heavily involved in the Avengers escapades.

Muskateer is a hero who is asked to join the Avengers, after several other members are killed. His personal series gives him the chance to work as a soloist or in smaller groups where the full attention of the Avengers is not required. The Avengers, Muskateer, and Huntress titles crossover with each other very frequently.

The West Coast Campaign takes a different tactic. Instead of the heroes starting out in a group, this one follows one colorful mutant revealing the events that will lead up to the formation X-Factor. (And we actually beat the Marvel Comic to the name by at least a year!) Spectrum tells the story of Spectrum, of course, and the rather bizarre adventures and circumstances that surround him. Spectrum Index

X-Factor Index X-Factor is the team book for the West Coast. It features a core group of heroes, all of whom worked with each other before. The circumstances of the Great Supervillain Contest caused them to band together for protection, inadvertently leading to the formation of X-Factor. This title takes a look at the team concept with a group starting out with nothing-- no base, no equipment, etc.

Lost Heroes is our most unusual title. As such, this title does not fit into our regular continuity. What happens when you have over 200 issues of stories that haven't actually happened yet? Add in an idea one year in the forming and some hefty rewriting and you get Lost Heroes. If we gave you any more info than that, we'd have to remove you from the timestream. Lost Heroes Index

Scarlet Sabre Index Scarlet Sabre is our newest series and, quite naturally, it focuses on the adventures of Jessica Flynn and her cybernetic sidekick Jaime. Unlike our other soloist titles, Scarlet's exploits cover the globe and delve into the corporate and high-tech side of things. Working by herself or teamed with other members of the Freedom League, the Scarlet Sabre shares her adventures with us.

Troubleshooters is an anthology featuring stories and characters that don't quite fit in elsewhere in the campaign. More often than not, Troubleshooters tales take place in the past rather than the current time frame. Photon has the first mini-series and it covers his origin. Next up was the Scarlet Sabre with her origin and a three part tale from her past. The villains took over next, with a series of tales taking place during the GSVC. That was followed by the Purple Phlox , Captain Valor, and the Wild Cards. Troubleshooters Index

Young Champions Index The last of the currently available titles is the Young Champions. This is the story of young heroes in training, who operate out of Sanctuary. They are led by a mysterious mentor known only as the Gladiator. The group has no fixed roster and members come and go as they complete their training. The story opens with three new recruits being added to the program and much of what goes on told through their eyes.

The most popular area of the site is the Handbook Area. Here you find Biographies, Character Sheets and Artwork for many of the characters in our stories.

The Time Line page is important, as it lays out the sequence for all the files. With nearly two hundred story files posted, following everything and what happens when can get rather hairy! Links to all the story files can be found on this page as well. The Roster page lists all the currently featured hero and villain groups and their membership.

All of this is tied together on the Main page. Additionally, the last time a particular area was updated is noted here. And basically, that's what our sight is all about. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to sign our Guest Book!
