The Great Thanksgiving Roast

Remember me talking about some of the things in this gallery being downright bizarre? This is where that description comes in! Here's some background on how this all came about.

In 1984 I made Muskateer a handdrawn birthday card. It was three pages long with nine panels per page. The artwork was just a tad above stick figures and I called it: "This is a Birthday Card?". On the card the various NPC characters from the current D&D game I was running (Victor the Third) more or less roasted Muskateer like they used to do on TV. They told jokes and made put downs.

Just a few short weeks later I got this in the mail. It was his revenge.

Time wise, this takes place very early in the Spectrum game. It could have been before X-Factor was even formed! So come with me now as Spectrum and his Terror Incorporated associates sit down for a nice Thanksgiving Dinner...

Some of the pics are very large, so be patient in accessing them. The only thing I did to modify these pics was to make the blacks darker so that the text could be read easier. Otherwise, you're seeing what the originals looked like.

I trust you all found that suitably bizzare. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your point of view, that's all there is. Was there more to it? Only Muskateer knows the answer to that question!

There's a great deal of inside jokes and Monty Phyton humor in there, so if you don't get some of the stuff, don't feel bad.
