Known Powers:

Spinnerette is a mutate with spider-like powers. She can cling to just about any surface, is superhumanly strong, and can leap great distances. Spinnerette can spin webs to either swing on or wrap up her foes. This webbing is not produced naturally, but is manufactured by Spin and installed in mechanical web projectors. Spinnerette is incredibly agile, skilled in hand to hand combat, has a special sense that alerts her to danger, and can heal wounds at an incredible rate.

Spinnerette was a founding member of the Guardians, along with Hornet, Resonator, Force, and Sidewinder, in the summer of 1980. She serves on this respected team to this day, although she frequently works alone or teamed up with her good friend Morning Star.

Spin is rather tight lipped about her past, except to her closest friends. Tori worked as a Chemist for Bio-Investigations Limited around the same time that Dr. Diana Whitmore had the accident that changed her into the infamous Shrinker. Great enmity still exists between the two.

Tori has a rather checkered reputation as a bio-chemist. She has lost several lucrative jobs due to the time she spends as Spinnerette. However, her great skill in this field keeps her somewhat in demand. Upon occasion, she has worked as a private investigator.

Recently, the Guardians answered a summons for help in another dimension and Spinnerette was reluctantly left behind. To pass the time, Spin is assisting X-Factor in a raid on a VIPER's Nest. Later, she and Morning Star looked into the Thugmaster Elite's return to Los Angeles.

When the Guardians did return from the other dimension, Spinnerette was summoned to the team's mansion under mysterious circumstances. The group held a press conference later on in the day where it was announced that the Guardians have disbanded. The exact details have yet to be released. Its unknown what Spinnerette is going to do next.

Spinnerette was designed, created, and drawn by Muskateer. And no, she wasn't bitten by a radioactive spider, but the exact details will be revealed in time.
