Shadow Queen is a mutant with the ability to manipulate darkness and shadows, or can create her own patches of lightlessness. She can solidify the darkness to form barriers, and use it to grapple her foes or to manipulate items. Shadow Queen can also merge with any shadow to pass through solid objects. She can see normally in darkness and shadowy areas.

Sque is vulnerable to light based attacks, but curiously her eyes are highly resistant to bright light. Her costume, what there is of it, is a special Kevlar/Lycra combination given to her by one of her many old boyfriends.

Notes:

In her younger days, Lisa Greene was an operative for Thugmaster and trained at his academy to become, well, a thug. As her mutant powers began to manifest, she was promoted to his Elite Corps and took the code name Shadow Queen. She served well for a time, but it occurred to her that she could do far better out on her own. When the opportunity presented itself, Shadow Queen betrayed the Thugmaster Elite to the Champions. Now she works both sides of the law, helping out cute superhero hunks while at the same time making a killing for herself. While possessing a criminal streak, Shadow Queen is not truly evil, but rather selfish and self-centered individual.

A side effect of Lisa's mutation is her high degree of attractiveness to men. However, women are equally repulsed by her. Shadow Queen herself seems oblivious to this, but takes advantage of her effects upon males, seemingly falling in and out of love at the drop of a hat.

Shadow Queen was one of the mutants captured by Genocide and used in the Project: Arena experiment. She escaped with the aid of Spectrum and Icicle. The trio attempted to reach Los Angeles, but their plane crashed en route. What became of Shadow Queen at that point is unclear, but at some time she was captured by an as of yet unrevealed villain for the GSVC. She was rescued during the Assault of the Heroes. It was during this time that she met her current boyfriend, the slightly deranged Foxbat.

Shadow Queen and Foxbat attempted to do some 'window shopping' at a fashion and accessory show being held by supermodel Sheila Grace. They encountered Blizzard and his Heroes for Hire there and battle eurpted. Both sides ended up being captured by the Thugmaster's Elite when memebers of that group showed up as well.

The Thugmaster's Elite held Shadow Queen prisoner with the intent of returning her to the Thugmaster himself. That plan went awry when the group ended up in the middle of a fight between Terror Incorporated and Terror Unlimited. Using the battle as a distraction, Foxbat managed to escape thanks to Blizzard and Impact. Foxbat went on to free Shadow Queen and were immediately attacked by the Empress. Shadow Queen, terrorified to have to face the Thugmaster again, fled abandoning Foxbat in the process like she has done to so many other men in the past.

The Shadow Queen was originally created by Dennis Mallonee and first appeared in the Champions Adventure "The Great Supervillain Contest". The version presented here has been upgraded to 4th Edition, with some minor alterations, by Muskateer. The image of Shadow Queen was also drawn by Muskateer.
