Scorpia is a woman whose natural abilities have been heightened to super-human levels. In addition to her terrorist skills, Scorpia has received extensive tutelage from Professor Muerte. Strange chemical compounds that the two created from exotic amazon plants have increased her physical abilities as well.

Scorpia's trademark attack is her claws. These super-sharp weapons can cut steel and retract into her gloves. Launchers located on the back of each wrist fire off a variety of darts that Scorpia has devised. These include Stinger Darts, Concussion Darts, Poison Darts, and Paralytic Darts.

Notes:

Fiona O'Brady grew up with a congenital hatred of the British and was determined to drive them from her native Ireland forever in the bloodiest manner possible. She became a competent chemist and marital artist. As the terrorist known as Scorpia, her special darts and claw attacks became the bane of British soldiers and Protestant loyalists everywhere. Finally, the British managed to track down her cell, killing or capturing everyone but Fiona.

Scorpia left Ireland and gravitated to the Middle East. It was here that Professor Muerte found Fiona. He found the idea of a lovely Irish girl teaching terrorist tactics in the Middle East to be charming. After one particularly bloody attack, the Israelis came after Fiona. She escaped with the aid of Professor Muerte and he took her under his wing. He trained her extensively and used exotic plants to increase her natural abilities. Giving her a costume of his own design, Fiona became Scorpia full time.

Scorpia was the Professor's mistress for a time, but even her lust for power could not make her stay with the hideous Muerte for long. She stayed close for many years waiting for the right opportunity to arise. During this time, the Professor provided Scorpia with the wrist launchers for her darts.

Finally, the moment did arrive. When the Professor as well as the others of Terror Incorporated foolishly attacked the Guardians base due to Muerte's slight in the Great Supervillain Contest, Scorpia abandoned them and struck out on her own. Her first recruit was the Irish muscle man, Shamrock. The two had been lovers in the past. It was a comfortable fit as Scorpia would surround herself with attractive people instead of the hideous Muerte and his associates.

The man calling himself Spectrum, the one in the rainbow costume, was the next member. He also was a former member of Terror Incorporated, but had the habit of dropping out of sight every few weeks. Scorpia was attracted to Spectrum from the start since he, like herself, were the only non-appalling members of Terror Incorporated. Scorpia doesn't trust Spectrum much, but then she doesn't trust anyone all that much. At Spectrum's suggestion, Mind Slayer joined the group. Calling themselves Terror Unlimited, this new villain group burst onto the scene with a successful robbery of the First National Bank of California.

Since then, Scorpia has performed a favor for the Iron Maiden, gaining herself a powerful weapon: a Vibratory Bomb. Unexpected, her Spectrum collapsed, changed form, and feel into a deep coma. Scorpia is unsure what to make of this development, but will not let it hinder her plans. Recently Terror Unlimited raided a sacked VIPER's Nest to acquire weapons. Scorpia is keeping her eyes open for new members for her little group of criminals.

Scorpia is ruthless and manipulative. She views others as pawns to be maneuvered, or clay pigeons to be destroyed when the mood strikes her. She can be charming and quite passionate to her lovers, but make no mistake, Scorpia is a cold-blooded killer who will do whatever is necessary to accomplish her goals.

During the Thugmaster's Elite graduation ceremonies, Scorpia added Black Hole to the team. Terror Incorporated was on hand as well and violence flared as soon as each was aware of the presence of the other. Scorpia tried to reach Professor Muerte in an effort to sink her claws into her former mentor, but was ultimately drive off. Faced with superior numbers, Scorpia withdrew from the battle.

Scorpia was created by Steve Perrin and first appeared in Enemies II. Later, she was upgraded to 4th Edition by Scott Bennie in Classic Enemies. Our version was further upgraded by Spectrum. Color and manipulation by Spectrum & Muskateer.
