Notes:

Bryan Sculley is the younger brother of Jim (Spectrum) and Stephanie, son of Jordan and Helen Sculley. Jordan was a mutant with the ability to manipulate shadows and operated as the hero Shadow during the 60's & 70's. His mutant potential was passed down to each of his children. This potential lain dormant until unleashed via chemical treatments by Hexmaster in a plot for vengeance against Shadow.

Bryan is a natural athlete and excelled in football. He went to USC on a football scholarship and was an All-American linebacker. This all came to a sudden end after Hexmaster brought out Bryan's mutant potential since he would no longer be able to get past the superhuman testing. These tests became necessary to weed out those with superpowers that try to play sports. Rather than get caught, Bryan quit the team, giving up his dream to play in the NFL.

As Impact, Bryan is essentially a flying battering ram. His main mode of attack is to simply fly through his enemies. He is stronger and generates a force field for personal protection. Right now, Impact is a raw talent that needs polishing.

Since quitting football, Bryan has moved into the offices of Heroes for Hire. An investigative sports reporter, Scoop Conners, is trying to discover the truth behind Bryan's suddenly quitting football, seemingly turning his back on a promising career. Currently, Impact works for Heroes for Hire and has started an affair with the Empress, a girl he used to date in high school.

At first Bryan was under the impression that Angie had broke up with Blizzard. This was in fact not true and the Empress is seeing both men. Bryan feels horribly guilty about all of this and yet can't resist Angie's charms. Its a situation made all the worse since Impact works for Blizzard.
