Known Powers:

All of Centurion's powers come from his armored battlesuit. It affords him great protection, enhances his strength, and grants the power of flight. Centurion's offensive capabilities comes from a small cannon strapped to his forearm. This cannon can issue forth a variety of energized plasma attacks. Centurion is also skilled in the designing and building of weapons.

Harry Nelson was a brilliant research scientist who had a great love of weapons of all types, particularly energy weapons. He breezed through college and accepted a position with BLADE Inc., a company that specialized in building weapons, armored suits and vehicles. For Harry, it was a dream come true. BLADE had the reputation of trying even the most outlandish of projects.

Harry designed what became the Centurion armor and its attached plasma cannon. Unfortunately, one of Harry's superiors was a VIPER Operative assigned to watch over BLADE projects and to steal the most promising ones for VIPER. Harry's project was considered most promising. Late one night while Harry was working, a VIPER assault team showed up to steal the suit. Instead, Harry used the suit to repel the snakes.

The rush of using his creation was intoxicating to Harry. The idea of slaving away in a lab no longer held any great appeal. Now he would go out and using his creations to stop felons and criminal organizations such as VIPER. Harry was now the Centurion.

The Dallas VIPER Nest didn't take any of this sitting down and they continued to try and acquire the Centurion armor. Many battles followed and in the process Centurian met and befriended many of the local heroes. When approached by Captain Lightning to join the Superior Seven, Harry jumped at the chance.

With the building of the Ranch, a weapons research lab was constructed to Harry's specifications. It was Harry who constructed most of the Ranch's defensive systems and weaponry. He also converted Maverick's six shooters into high-tech laser pistols. Currently, Harry works as an independent weapons and armor designer through special arrangement with Ward Electronics.

Personally, Harry is a bit of a hothead and is prone to say the wrong thing at the wrong time. He's quick to anger and carries a tremendous grudge against VIPER to this very day. He'll go out of his way to foil any VIPER plot. Centurion has a crush on his teammate the Sorceress, but thinks himself unworthy of her affections. Having seen the way the Sorceress acts and speaks to Captain Lightning has led him to believe that the two are more than just friends.

Centurion was created by Muskateer. Centurion is loosely based on the character Arsenal from Enemies Assembled and was adapted by Spectrum.
