As the tension between the two groups thickened, everyone seemed to hold their breath as they waited for what would come next. The five Selonian soldiers were determined to arrest Doctor Maronea for what they said were crimes against her and their people. The haphazard crew that was sent to find her found those accusations interfered with the mission they were sent upon by none other than Teemo the Hutt. His wrath was more dangerous than these five glaive-wielding soldiers.
It was clear that despite attempts to negotiate that this was not a situation that could be resolved without a fight. Two opposing sides, both set on their own needs. Both fighting over Dr. Maronea. The battle would prove deadly.
For the spacers, Pron and Kilian took some major wounds in the fight. On the other side, only one of the Selonian warriors walked away from the fight. Several died outright and even Captain Vereska was seriously wounded. The fringers escaped with Dr. Maronea, as the crowd, made up mostly of fur-covered alien races, was starting to grow hostile.
Once the doctor was escorted to safety, she informed them that hunting the wilds of Myrkyr was not likely to succeed in their mission. The ysalamiri are difficult to remove from the trees they feed upon without killing them and the vornskyr are so wary of sentient beings due to being hunted almost to extinction. However, by infiltrating the compound where used to work there would be access to captive species of both races.
The biggest obstacles to this task were the orbital surveillance of Myrkyr and the automated security towers. Flying a ship directly to the base would initiate immediate attack as all supplies are first taken to the surface at the main consortium base and then distributed to various facilities with low-altitude skiffs.
The plan for the first obstacle involved impersonating a supply freighter, utilizing faked transponder codes. Further development of the plan involved arriving during a planetary storm. The supply ships rarely deviated from their regular schedules, even in the event of storms. This required hacking the feed of a Zann Consortium meteorological satellite. This would allow them to arrive during such a storm.
Pron then guided their light freighter to follow the supply convoy into the atmosphere after they had showed up and convinced the orbital surveillance team that they belonged in the convoy. With the storm as an alibi, the fringers "lost control" of their ship due to the storm and broke away from the convoy to land close enough to the research station to reach on foot, but far enough away to avoid the facility's radar.

Re: Riding the Storm (Episode 4)
The lead ship immediately hailed them as they arrived and the bogus transponder code along with some quick talking convinced the ship to allow them to join the convoy. Once they began to break away, the lead ship began to fire on them. Pron's flying skill managed to avoid the blasts and the dangers of the storm. However, even escaping the incoming fire, entering the teeth of the storm brought them dangerously close to a mountain range. This only increased the turbulence.
Using the storm and the mountains, the freighter managed to escape the sensors of the convoy and also avoid crashing into the mountains themselves. Pron had a particularly skillful landing.
A small meadow was the preferred landing spot, as indicated by Dr. Maronea. This location was often obscured by fog, even when it wasn't raining. Coupled with the metal-rich nearby mountain, the ship seemed to be safe for a few days from any Consortium rescue crews or wandering patrols. Now it was time to wait out the storm and get a good night's rest.
The next morning is exceedingly wet and there is a thick fog blanketing the area. The team is about a two-day hike from the research facility. Teemo's people had provided for deep forest hunting and there were camping gear and two tents. Doctor Maronea's datapad had precise directions, so getting to the facility should prove little problem, or so they hoped.
One last surprise came when the team found that Den Nasi had not in fact come with them. He had been experiencing a space sickness and they thought he had joined them but ship records indicated that he never did board the ship before it left Tatooine.
